Production Update 1

This first post, before our crowdfunding campaign goes live, is to share where we are in the pre-production process; what's done, what's happening, and what's next.

Completed Tasks

1. We've started filming! In the past year, we've filmed content across North America

2. We've set up social media sites—please give us a follow!

Ongoing Projects

1. We are setting up an LLC to manage production expenses.

2. We have started recruiting crew members for video, sound, and interpreting.

3. We are finalizing our crowdfunding campaign (and rewards!) and plan to go live by the end of January.

4. We continue to plan for our trip to Japan—scheduling interviews and scouting locations.

Next Up

1. Launching and advertising our crowdfunding campaign! This is where most of our financing is likely to come from and will directly impact what we're able to achieve with the film.

2. Contacting producers—if a film producer really thinks we're onto something, we would welcome the professional involvement.
